Daylight Scripture – Oh God, turn to us, and be gracious to us; for we are lonely and afflicted.  Relieve the troubles of our heart, and bring us out of our distresses. Consider our affliction and our trouble, and forgive all our sins.

Psalms 25: 15-16

Daylight Prayer – Lord God. I join with others who are praying today…this prayer and other prayers. Our world is a harsh and cruel place, where innocents are slaughtered. We can not go on being and doing the evil deeds that come from within us. We are guilty in too many ways to name. We have to turn around. We have to repent. We have to turn to you…or else we are ruined. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayers. Amen.
