Lord Jesus, thank you for giving me enough faith to believe in your saving power. I certainly know that my deeds are not good enough to save squat–much less my eternal soul–so Jesus, Thank You.  Amen.

Lord God, King Darius recognized that you are God of all things, omniscient, omnipotent and everlasting. When I get in those moments of stress and fear, help me to stop and remember Darius’ words. Help me take strength from the fact that such a One as You notices and loves even me.  Amen.
