Daylight Scripture – Yousucculent have searched me and know me Lord.

Psalm 139:1

Daylight Prayer – Lord, thank you for reminding me just whose I am. I am your created person, with no other purpose than to be that…yours. Help me to realize daily that all of me is unhidden from you…the inside parts, the outside parts, the unconscious parts, the conscious parts, the words, the thoughts, the desires, the intentions, the deeds…every bit of me. Gracious God, keep me I pray. Amen.

Psalm 53:1a

Daylight Prayer – Lord, forgive us when we say and act like you are not our creator, that you do not exist for us, that you are not the sole reason for our existence, that you are not. Let the people say…something different. Let the people say…as you said…You are. Amen. and Amen.

Psalm 46:10

Daylight Prayer – Lord, I admit that I am rarely still. The busyness of my life, the gadgets I have, the people I see, and the things I do leaves me so exhausted. Then stillness brings slumber. Please forgive me for not putting my time of stillness and knowing first. Help me when I am still to listen for your voice. Amen.

Psalm 130:3

Daylight Prayer – Lord I know that I stand in need of prayer because of all the things I do and have done wrong. Sins against you and neighbor, which are against you too. I haven’t always done as you have commanded me, and I have neglected my solitude and prayer time. But, you know all. You were there with me when all of them happened. You watched me foul up time and time again. If it were not for your forgiveness, I would be lost! Undone. Dead. But instead, because of the faith and grace of your son, Jesus given to me, I am not. I am forgiven, and I have been set free from that existence. I am grateful. Praise be the name of the Lord. Amen.
