Daylight Scripture – Even if someone sins against you seven times in one day and returns to you seven times and says, ‘I am changing my ways,’ you must forgive that person.”

Luke 17: 4 CEB

Daylight Prayer – Gracious God, when I think I must forgive so many times the offenses of someone who repeatedly hurts me in one day,  I think to myself, it’s impossible. And then I remember how many times you forgive me in a day, how many times I say I am sorry, how many times I hurt you. Help me to see the way of forgiveness through your heart and not mine. Help me to do better. Amen.

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8 CEB

Daylight Prayer – Lord, what time do we really have? Just the briefest…I know. Help me spend the time I have learning from you the way forward, the way to be, the way to live and the way to treat others. Show me the ways of Christ, so that I can ever move towards his likeness. Let this be my time for peace. Amen.
