Daylight Prayer – Lord, today I pray for those of us who want to speak out, give advice, tell our opinions, revise others thoughts, preach, persuade and otherwise sound off. Help us to listen to your Spirit before we do, since you know when the time is right better than we do. Amen.

Daylight Prayer – Lord, my prayer today is for people for are living in war-torn countries. God, please grant them courage, safety, and peace. Come Lord Jesus, and break down the barriers the separate us and cause us to hate. Turn us into peacemakers rather than the war makers we are. Amen.

Daylight Prayer – Lord, I am grateful for all those who are at work serving us in stores, restaurants, resorts, police cars, fire trucks, EMS vehicles and in all the other places where persons are not having a holiday. May they be well rewarded for their time, and bless them on this Labor Day. Amen.
