DayLight Scripture –

Don’t be glad for great luxury,
and don’t be made needy by an encounter with it.
Don’t become poor
by feasting with borrowed money when you have nothing in your pocket.

Sirach 18:32-33

DayLight Prayer – Lord,  I admit that I enjoy all the luxuries that I have in my life. They are many. Help me to share with others the blessings that I have, and help me to resist living beyond my means in frivolous spending. Teach me to check myself when I spend to see if my purchase is both necessary and good. I fail at this a lot. Thank you loving God for the help! Amen.
