Father God, Some days I fail to see the good that you are working, especially where there is pain, sadness and fear. But never-the-less I believe Paul’s proclamation. I believe that you are working everything to the good…because that is who you are. God you are good and your mercy is everlasting.  Amen.

Dear Lord, This culture will deceive me into believing that I must look, act, live and be a certain way before I am valuable in the world. I reject this. I am thankful that you go past the outer façade of my being and into my heart to do your work. Live fully in me today and live in my actions. Help me to get out of your way. Help me to be your good work today.  Amen.

Father God, Pour out your tender mercies over me today. Give me the strength to dodge all the evil that is shot at me. Release me to live fearlessly and boldly proclaim the good news to the people. Let the name of the Lord be spoken, sung, praised, and let the word of the Lord be received with gladness by your people everywhere.  Amen.

Gracious Lord, In many ways I lift my prayers to you; long wordy ones, formal church ones, over-the-sick and downtrodden ones, ones thought, ones cried, ones screamed and ones that are tormented, disappointed, and frustrated. Yet you hear them all. You receive them all, just as they are offered because your eyes see the places from which they come and your ears hear the prayers of your children. I give you praise because I am so grateful you hear me just as I am.   Amen.

Lord, Phillip asked you to show the Father to him and all the disciples and they would be satisfied, to which you responded, “I am…” Give me a pure heart so that when I see God I will be able to recognize God. Help me to have peace today as I realize your presence in my life.   Amen.

Glorious Father, when you spoke the light into existence, it was for our benefit. In so many ways it shines to light our path and direct our ways. I am filled with gratitude for the way you make me to see which way to go, which road to travel.   Amen.
