DayLight Scripture – Some people brought children to Jesus so that he would place his hands on them and pray. But the disciples scolded them. “Allow the children to come to me,” Jesus said. “Don’t forbid them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people like these children.” Then he blessed the children and went away from there.

Matthew 19: 13-5

DayLight Prayer – Dear Lord, Today I focus my prayer on children. For all those who feel left out, send them friends. For all those who are hungry, provide them with adequate nourishment. For all those who suffer from illness, bring them healing. For all those whose lives are fearful, give them a sense of love, peace and comfort. For all who are homeless, place them in a stable home. For all who are orphans, find them parents. For all who lack means for education, healthcare, and the things that make childhood good, help us all to work hard to help those who cannot help themselves. All the children of the earth.  Amen.
