DayLight 3.2.15

Standard

ChildrenDayLight Scripture – People were bringing children to Jesus so that he would bless them. But the disciples scolded them. When Jesus saw this, he grew angry and said to them, “Allow the children to come to me. Don’t forbid them, because God’s kingdom belongs to people like these children.  I assure you that whoever doesn’t welcome God’s kingdom like a child will never enter it.”  Then he hugged the children and blessed them.

Mark 10: 13-16

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Bless all the children today; those who are sick, cranky, full of mischief, sad, sassy, big, small, self-assured, and timid. Bless them for the wonderful spirits they have, and help them to enjoy the day fully. Help us to protect each one and welcome them as they come to you.  Amen.

About Judy Eurey

Frankly I love being retired. Unless otherwise noted, the Scripture passages used on my blog DayLight are my own paraphrased interpretations. I invite you to verify, dispute and otherwise comment. I am open to discussion.
