DayLight 1.28.15

Standard

Sawssan Abdelwahab, who fled Idlib in Syria, walks with her children outside the refugees camp near the Turkish-Syrian border in YayladagiDayLight Scripture –  At that time, I will break the yoke off their necks and remove their shackles. Foreigners will no longer enslave them, declares the Lord of heavenly forces.

Jeremiah 30:8

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Let those we consider foreigners be blessed today. Help us to realize that we in our sins, are foreigners to you, that it is only through Jesus that we may we be forgiven, considered family and receive your grace. Help us to love one another, no matter where we have come from. Help us to remember that you loved us when we were foreigners to you.  Amen.

About Judy Eurey

In my life I am a wife to Ed, a mom to Amanda and Charles, Mimi to Sara and Jessy, and Judy to my friends and family. In 2019 I retired from pastoral ministry and have settled into my new normal. Frankly I love being retired. Unless otherwise noted, the Scripture passages used on my blog DayLight are my own paraphrased interpretations. I invite you to verify, dispute and otherwise comment. I am open to discussion.
