DayLight Scripture – On that day, I will make a covenant for them with the wild animals, the birds in the sky, and the creeping creatures of the fertile ground. I will do away with the bow, the sword, and war from the land; I will make you lie down in safety.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Hasten the day when there is no more war, no more fighting, and no more fear. You have given us this wonderful world to live in, a place where children can grow up, learn and live. Why do we humans destroy the beautiful, and leave behind what we believe is the “new and improved.” God forgive us when we do not attach ourselves to you and your goodness, when we fight instead of love one another, and when we do listen to you. Amen.
