DayLight Scripture – When you pray, go to your room, shut the door, and pray to your Father who is present in that secret place. Your Father who sees what you do in secret will reward you.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, As I enter into a Holy Lent this day, may my heart be open to you. Help me to reflect, consider, and think deeply about my life, including issues that upset me, people who bedraggle me, and how I consider them. Help me to hear your council. Help me to gain wisdom from your word. Help me understand how to carry a penitent attitude for Christ’s sake. Amen.
