DayLight 1.29.14

Standard

Homeless-childrenDayLight Scripture – The brothers said to each other, “We are clearly guilty for what we did to our brother when we saw his life in danger and when he begged us for mercy, but we didn’t listen. That’s why we’re in this danger now.”

Genesis 42: 21

DayLight Prayer – Gracious God, when our brothers and sisters are begging us for mercy, please help us to hear and help us to act.  Help me not to turn a blind eye or a deaf ear to suffering. Help me to love. Help me to give. Help me to encourage. Help me to pray. Help me to befriend. Help me to help!  Amen.

About Judy Eurey

In my life I am a wife to Ed, a mom to Amanda and Charles, Mimi to Sara and Jessy, and Judy to my friends and family. In 2019 I retired from pastoral ministry and have settled into my new normal. Frankly I love being retired. Unless otherwise noted, the Scripture passages used on my blog DayLight are my own paraphrased interpretations. I invite you to verify, dispute and otherwise comment. I am open to discussion.
