DayLight Scripture – Mordecai went out from the king’s presence in a blue and white royal robe wearing a large gold crown and a white and red-purple coat. The city of Susa greeted him with shouts of joy. For the Jews it was a day of light, happiness, joy, and honor. In every province and in every town—wherever the king’s order and his law arrived—for the Jews it was a day of happiness and joy. For them it meant feasts and a holiday.
Esther 8: 15-17a
DayLight Prayer – Lord, Thank you for winter days that are both crisp and bright. We all need your light; I know that I do. Thank you for Jesus, who is the light of our world. Everywhere we hear of him, let us be reminded that it is a day of happiness, joy and honor! Amen.
