DayLight Scripture – Jesus called for the Twelve and sent them out in pairs. He gave them authority over unclean spirits. He instructed them to take nothing for the journey except a walking stick—no bread, no bags, and no money in their belts.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, these verses remind me just how naked we feel when we are in the world trying to live and be who you have called us to be, carriers of the good news. I often forget the authority you give, your assurances of provision, and the great need you want us to see to. Forgive me, Lord. Strengthen my resolve, and strengthen my commitment.  Help me to live fearlessly and help me to share. Amen.
