After he took his seat at the table with them, he took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.  Their eyes were opened and they recognized him.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, My prayer today is for those persons who have yet to recognize you; the ones who long for a sustaining foundation of trust and faith. There are so many that simply misunderstand the gospel–and that I am afraid is the fault of us Christians. Poor as we are Lord, help us to show the Spirit of Christ so that the gospel comes across from our life in simple terms.
