Faithful One, Many days the journey I am on gets bumpy and overwhelming. Maybe it is because I forget that you are there to show me the path and I step wrongly. Forgive me, Lord. Help me to see and follow your leading. Help me to know your will for my life. Help me to love, be filled with joy and take pleasure in the life you have blessed me with. Amen.

Lord, Today I believe that many people are discouraged. They find themselves in situations that they had hoped would change. They have waited and been patient. They have waited and hoped. For each of them I pray. I ask you to shower each one with the blessings of heaven. Let them be touched by your presence. Press them to continue and keep hope alive . Amen.

Glorious God, I must admit I cannot fathom heaven as a location. Is it a specific? Is it GPSable? I don’t have to know, except that heaven is home and heaven is you. Lord help me to be humble today and release all in myself that does not reflect my status as a kingdom dweller and a heaven seeker . Amen.

Gracious Lord, If you did not have patience with us, patience to extend you mercy, then we would all be lost. Thank you for suffering with us through the troubles we have, those we are innocent in and those we are guilty of. Thank you for lighting our ways home. Amen.

Gracious Lord, Help me to think, act and feel on behalf of others before myself. It is so easy to rely on my own heart’s devices instead of the well-being of those around me. You have given me the model of perfection in Jesus, the Lord and King of the earth. So help me follow his guide, the one who gave all of himself for my sake. Amen.

Lord, When I have a question in my mind about your direction for my life, I know the true source of the answer is you. Thank you for opening the glorious riches of Jesus to me. Thank you for answering my prayers. Give me the direction I need for now. Glory to the one who guides and gives the gift of discernment. Amen.

Lord, I am so grateful that you do not watch me from a far, but you step up and into me. Your presence comforts me and you love relieves my fears. Forgive me when in my worldly haste, I ignore your voice and your pull on my heart. Keep me from falling prey to evil and allow me to keep company more fully with you. Amen.

God of Heaven, When I ponder the creative power in you, my mind contains the thought because I reach the boundaries of my mind and human experience. I can only go so far in my understanding, and then I am confounded. Help me to know as much of you as I can hold, miniscule though that knowledge be. Humbly I bow and praise our God and creator. Lord, I cry out to you on behalf of all who do not believe. I cry, save me. Living without your comfort and peace seems impossible to me, yet people do it every day. Lord, help me to present myself as a living light, one that may help someone who is hurting and living in unbelief and without hope. To those who live with impossibilities everyday, let them find hope in you.  Amen.
