Jesus said. “You have heard it said, ‘an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth,’ but I tell you, don’t resist the person who does evil. Rather, if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn the other to him too.”

Matthew 6:38

DayLight Prayer –

Lord, how hard it is for me to turn the “other cheek, ” especially when the slaps are sarcastic looks and hateful words. If you help me though, today I will try to go the extra mile and resist giving it back.  Amen.
