My Lord Jesus, Help me today to remember Peter’s words and remember that you have given me everything I need…for life and for being Godly. Knowing you makes it possible; because you are holy, I am holy…Amazing, I can never claim holiness, except through you. I am most blessed!   Amen.

Lord, Forgive me for my weak-minded days of fear, when in the rush of the moment, I don’t remember that you are only a breath away. So insignificant–a breath, yet I forget. Drop upon me your words of encouragement especially when I am in turmoil of any situation…those words so dear, “Do not be afraid.”  Amen.

Gracious Lord, My praise is all I can give when I think of the numerous times of your rescue. Those moments when an adversary full of hateful words came like a wave to swamp me, and you gave me a word of peace to speak. Give me a word of peace again today I pray. Amen.

DayLight Prayer –

Lord, Everyday as you children we are struck with all our lives contain. The beautiful and also our need to endure, to face afflictions and hardships and the pressures to be so much to so many. Yet, in it all we know that you strengthen us, moment by moment, to show ourselves worthy of the calling you have given us. I, for one am grateful. Amen.

Sweet Lord,  I know that you hear me when I pray, but when my heart and soul are in turmoil because of all that goes on, all that assails me, the pressure, the questions, the state of things, well…I can’t hear you very well. Say the word to me that you spoke to the sea. Do you remember? When your disciples were afraid and distracted by the storm…and you said, “Peace, be still”? Say that word to me and help me hear you. Amen.
