DayLight Prayer – Lord, I am thinking about all the people who need the hospitality of others. Swarms of folks who have lost their way, their belongings, and their sanity. Help me and each of us to remember and to be open to them, offering the hospitality and love of Christ.  Amen.

 DayLight Prayer – Lord of all, I pray today for those I am acquainted with and those I am not who are facing a life without knowing you. You have the power to cast out all our demons when we give over our wills, and allow you to work in our hearts and lives. Demons flee in your presence, and for that I am so grateful. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Here on the third day of Easter I still rejoice. You have brought us the way to heaven; the good news of a change in heart and life. Help all of us who believe this gospel witness to your words, these exact words that you spoke to your disciples. Help me Lord to be a witness. Amen.

 DayLight Prayer – Lord, I pray for all of us who are  today contemplating the reality of Jesus and his sacrifice; all of us who believe, yet are amazed, and wonder as to why would he die for us, so unworthy are we. Like the disciples did, through the long night’s confusion, we wait. Amen.

 DayLight Prayer – Lord, I pray for your people today who are facing a dark night of fear, just like the one that caused Peter to deny you. I know that you forgave Peter, just as you forgive us when our fear and suffering overtake us and we cry out…I don’t know him! Thank you for your mercy, your compassion and your forgiveness. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, When you were among us, you gave us this great grace, you made a way for us to choose life or death. Thank you for the faith to choose life. Thank you those whose lives have been the witnesses you sent to set the choice before us, those saints who themselves chose life, and then poured it out so that we would know salvation.  Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Today I pray for anyone who is struggling to keep faith. Help them to remember that true faith and courage are like a kite which when facing an opposing wind only raises higher.  And Lord let them know that they do not fly alone.  Amen.
