DayLight Prayer – Lord, Forgive me Lord when I fail to walk in your truth, when I take my focus off of you and leave your honor in jeopardy of my negligence.  Help me to listen to the voice of your Holy Spirit today, and return to the way of truth wholeheartedly. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, My prayer today is for all persons who are in love and are this day making their vows to love one another forever.  Let the power of your Spirit overshadow their lives forever, and keep them deep in the love you have given them. Amen.

DayLight Scripture – Speak out on behalf of the voiceless, and for the rights of all who are vulnerable.

Proverbs 31: 8

DayLight Prayer – Lord, If we refuse to speak out for anybody who can’t speak for themselves, what does that say about our character. It is certainly not akin to yours, whose power and mercy bind up all who are hurt, all who need a friend. Help me to be a voice for the voiceless in all the ways I can. For souls are being lost.  Amen.

 DayLight Prayer – Lord, I am blessed to know people whose chains you have shattered. Those lives give me hope for all that your mercy and grace can accomplish. Help me to be part of your kingdom building in the places where I am.  Amen.

 DayLight Prayer – Lord, I give thanks that you allow the likes of me into your secret place, that blessed place of rest. That shadowy place is fully lit by the peace and presence of Christ.  Amen.

 DayLight Prayer – Lord, Forgive me when I abuse your scripture, trying to look for things that I want it to say. Rather Lord through your Holy Spirit guide me to exactly what I need, and what I will be nourished by.  Amen.

DayLight Scripture – Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks.

Philippians 4:6

 DayLight Prayer – Lord, I wonder why I get anxious sometimes. Is it because my thoughts are so small that I can’t think of all you are capable of? Help me with that please, so I can remember that you are God and nothing escapes your power. Give me power for living.  Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Thank you for this wonderful resurrection joy you have given me this week. I have been blessed by the celebration of life all around me, blooming dogwoods, bearded irises, dainty stars of Jerusalem, fuzzy little nuts, sunshine and rain, all of it has brought me joy.  Thank you for life! Amen.

 DayLight Prayer – Lord, I have been blessed by your words of salvation, your proclamation of grace to me. Fill me today with your spirit so that I can be your witness in the earth, both through my actions and my deeds, and through my thoughts and my prayers.  Amen.
