DayLight Prayer – Gracious God, I am so grateful for the presence of the Holy Spirit with us. You have honored us in a way that humbles me and makes me tremble at the same time. As I celebrate today, how you came to us, let me feel again the power, the fire, the passion of God with  us.  Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, I know people who believe that the faithful have disappeared or are hiding. I pray for those who are godly, that you will empower them to face the uncertainty of days with confidence in the power of God in their lives. Help me to live fearlessly, boldly and help me be seen by the world as faithful. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, My prayer today is for all who are needing guidance of any kind. Often we think that we are alone in our decisions, and we worry that we will err in making them. Give us confidence that through your Holy Spirit, your will is within our reach. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Forgive me when I forget that all of us are sinners, and you see us equally and love us equally.  Help me deal with my own stuff, and keep me from judging others since you put my brother in charge of that.  Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Today I pray for all your children who have trouble uttering a prayer, or thinking of you, or believing in you. Just because they don’t believe can’t prevent them from being loved by you. Thank you God, for loving me. Amen.

DayLight Scripture – God is our refuge and strength, a help always near in times of great trouble. That’s why we won’t be afraid when the world falls apart, when the mountains crumble into the center of the sea,  when its waters roar and rage,  when the mountains shake because of its surging waves.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, You have firmly planted me in a place of refuge. I am blessed to have your strength to help me in my troubled times. You guide my steps, and keep me from falling, even when I don’t know that you are there. My praise and adoration can’t be long enough nor loud enough to express my gratitude for your love.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, If the hills, which are nothing but clay can give you the honor you deserve, why can’t I? I love you Lord, and thank you for my life’s blessings! Amen

DayLight Scripture – Those who stand firm during testing are blessed. They are tried and true. They will receive the life God has promised to those who love God as their reward.

James 1:12

DayLight Prayer – Lord, I have always hated tests. I get nervous and anxiety just creeps over me. Help me to stand firm through what ever comes my way. Blessed be God, whose gift of life comes to all who love God. Amen.

DayLight Scripture – On both banks of the river will grow up all kinds of fruit-bearing trees. Their leaves won’t wither, and their fruitfulness won’t wane. They will produce fruit in every month, because their water comes from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for eating, their leaves for healing.

Ezekiel 47:12

DayLight Prayer – Lord, We journey through our lives looking for ways to be fruitful, for that was your commandment; be fruitful and multiply. I have come to see that fruitfulness is only possible when it is grown within your kingdom’s children and is nourished by the flow of your sweet spirit. I am grateful to know all sustenance is from your sanctuary and our access to it is everlasting.  Amen.

DayLight Scripture –  Be strong! Be fearless! Don’t be afraid and don’t be scared by your enemies, because the Lord your God is the one who marches with you. He won’t let you down, and he won’t abandon you.

Deuteronomy 31:6

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Thank you for your word, for the encouragement I find there. My enemies, the demons of procrastination, envy, fear, ugliness, and meanness…mine and others’… try to assail me on a daily basis. Thanks be to God that my marching partner is the one who never abandons nor lets me down. Hallelujah! Amen.
