Those, who have left family, friends, and what they know to be ministers in far-from-home places. Bless them with mercy and grace, provisioning and honor, and love to pour out on everyone they meet. God bless your missionaries in the fields harvesting. Amen.

DayLight Scripture – Like a parent feels compassion for their children— that’s how the Lord feels compassion for those who honor him.

Psalm 103:13

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Today I pray for all children who do not receive compassion from a parent. May they be blessed with people in their lives who love them like they deserve to be loved. God bless every hurting child with comfort and renewed joy.  Amen.

Isaiah 43: 11-12

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Great is your name and your mercy. When I am low, I know that I can’t go so low that you can not find me. You can find me, even when I can’t find myself. Let no one be discouraged, because when you speak, things change. People are saved. Situations are rectified. Fire is sparked. Peace is spread. Love is felt. Speak Lord.  Amen.

DayLight Scripture – Jesus returned from the Jordan River full of the Holy Spirit, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. There he was tempted for forty days by the devil.

Luke 4:1-2a

DayLight Prayer – Lord, I know that you understand when we are tempted. The evil one seems to bite and nip at our heels every day, pushing something in front of us to distract us from following you. Fill me fully with your Holy Spirit, so that when the devil comes to nit pick at me, I will be able to say: Scram you! You have none of me. Amen.

Luke 2:51

DayLight Prayer – Jesus, Lord and friend, help us to help our children today. All over the world, children suffer in different ways, some mentally, some socially, some economically, some emotionally, and some physically. God, intervene on their behalf, and help all of us to remember those who are innocent and helpless in their situations. Help us to care and sacrifice in your name.  Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Let your Holy Spirit flow today as your children all over the world celebrate together in the Holy meal that you gave us. Help us to remember you and be strengthened by the grace we receive from you. Be present in every drop, every morsel and transform us from within.   Amen.

Help those today who may be doubting that you are present, remember for a moment the vastness, the glory, the unbelievable beauty of your handiwork. Amen.

DayLight Scripture – Thank God, who is always leading us around through Christ as if we were in a parade. He releases the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere through us.

2 Corinthians 2:14

DayLight Prayer – Lord, These words from Paul are so encouraging because it is wonderful to know that I am led by God, even when I can’t see it. Lord, give me faith to believe that my feeble intentions do actually amount to something for the kingdom; that I might truly release a fragrance that pours an essence of Jesus upon others. Amen.
