DayLight Prayer – Lord, today I pray for all people who want to be a perfect vessel for you. Help us to seek you in the dim situations, the overwhelming delimmas, and the foreign actions that we come in contact with. Lord remove the dross of our hearts and fill us with your living Spirit. Amen.

DayLight Scripture – The potters take great pains to mold the clay. They make each piece for our use. They make some containers to be used for holy purposes. Others will be used for ordinary purposes. Both pieces are made from the same clay, and both are made in the same way. But the use to which each is put is left up to the judgment of the potter.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, It is easy to be discouraged when I cannot clearly see the signs of your kingdom coming. Help me today to trust even when I cannot see, and by your grace strengthen my faith.  Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, today it is easy to see your truth springing up from the ground, and the righteousness of your creation as it blows softly through my hair. Thank you Lord for these kinds of days, when it seems like you are as close as the warmth of spring. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Today my prayers are for all those who aren’t even sure that there is grace, much less that it is meant for them. For all those who are facing a dark day, a day of loss, a day of sadness, a day of grief, I pray that  you pour out the grace of our Lord upon them and give them peace. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Forgive me when I get overwhelmed with all that I encounter in your word. Even when I think I see and understand, I often find myself in over my head. For example, you say, “love your enemies.” Those words overwhelm me. So thank you God that your Holy Spirit gives to me what I can bear, and helps me when I am in too deep, saving me for another day of wisdom. Amen.

DayLight Scripture – The man who had been blind from birth answered, “I don’t know whether Jesus a sinner or not. Here’s what I do know: I was blind and now I see.”

John 9:25

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Why is it that even when you open our eyes, we stumble in our blindness. God forgive me when I refuse to see, though you are by side continually showing me the way. Amen.

DayLight Scripture – Faith, without doing something with that faith, is dead.

James 2:26

DayLight Prayer – Lord, When I am ignoring what I should be doing, how I should be using the faith you have given me, or standing with my head in the clouds… please forgive me and remind me that I serve, which means I do something! Don’t let my faith be dead!  Amen.
