 DayLight Prayer – Lord, I pray for your people today who are facing a dark night of fear, just like the one that caused Peter to deny you. I know that you forgave Peter, just as you forgive us when our fear and suffering overtake us and we cry out…I don’t know him! Thank you for your mercy, your compassion and your forgiveness. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Today I pray for anyone who is struggling to keep faith. Help them to remember that true faith and courage are like a kite which when facing an opposing wind only raises higher.  And Lord let them know that they do not fly alone.  Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, There are so many people I know who are in such turbulent seas that they may drown. God I ask on their behalf today, that you to throw them a lifeline of your grace. Give them the strength to reach out and grasp your might arm so that they will be saved. Amen.

DayLight Scripture -For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Today my heart mourns for those who have lost loved ones in death. Please comfort my friends in their terrible losses, lift their sorrows, and help them to be sustained by your grace. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, I noticed today that you know how to make some very beautiful days, filled with beautiful moments with hugs, laughter, smiles, good friends, and food. For these days, I am so grateful! Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, I pray that for every word of aggression that is spoken today, 100 words of gentleness is uttered, and for every word of war, a million words of peace . Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Today I pray for everyone who is trying to be the good fruit to which you intended. Those who struggle with addiction, anger, hatefulness and greed, help each one to live moment to moment if need be…each moment in the light of the good. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Dear Lord, Many days I find myself contemplating the many tasks I have to do. At times it is overwhelming, and I forget that your strength is as near as my prayer. Help me to rely on you, to ask, search and knock on your door for help. Amen.
