 DayLight Prayer – Lord, Forgive me when I abuse your scripture, trying to look for things that I want it to say. Rather Lord through your Holy Spirit guide me to exactly what I need, and what I will be nourished by.  Amen.

 DayLight Prayer – Lord, I wonder why I get anxious sometimes. Is it because my thoughts are so small that I can’t think of all you are capable of? Help me with that please, so I can remember that you are God and nothing escapes your power. Give me power for living.  Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Thank you for this wonderful resurrection joy you have given me this week. I have been blessed by the celebration of life all around me, blooming dogwoods, bearded irises, dainty stars of Jerusalem, fuzzy little nuts, sunshine and rain, all of it has brought me joy.  Thank you for life! DayLight Prayer – Lord, I am thinking about all the people who need the hospitality of others. Swarms of folks who have lost their way, their belongings, and their sanity. Help me and each of us to remember and to be open to them, offering the hospitality and love of Christ.  Amen.

 DayLight Prayer – Lord of all, I pray today for those I am acquainted with and those I am not who are facing a life without knowing you. You have the power to cast out all our demons when we give over our wills, and allow you to work in our hearts and lives. Demons flee in your presence, and for that I am so grateful. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Here on the third day of Easter I still rejoice. You have brought us the way to heaven; the good news of a change in heart and life. Help all of us who believe this gospel witness to your words, these exact words that you spoke to your disciples. Help me Lord to be a witness. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Today is still my day of rejoicing. The resurrection makes me glad. I know that all my loved ones will be raised to glory one day, along with all the saints of God. Until then we who remain wait for your glorious return. Thank you Lord for you mercy and grace. Amen.

 DayLight Prayer – Lord, I pray for all of us who are  today contemplating the reality of Jesus and his sacrifice; all of us who believe, yet are amazed, and wonder as to why would he die for us, so unworthy are we. Like the disciples did, through the long night’s confusion, we wait. Amen.
