Help them to know that their contributions when measured by the heavenly ruler become the sweet scent of Christ to the world. Bless those whose life is carried in your parade. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Leaving everything is often too difficult for me to comprehend. Yet I know that the truth is: following you is more than everything, it is life. Give me courage when I must say goodbye to people and things I love in order to follow where you are leading.

DayLight Scripture – Let God recall your many grain offerings; let him savor the sent your entirely used up offerings. Hallelujah!

Psalm 20:3

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Thank you for the blessings of my life. They are so many more than I can count. Forgive me when I take any for granted. Help me to share, to give, and to honor you with my offerings. Amen.

DayLight Scripture – Teach me your way, Lord, so that I can walk in your truth. Make my heart focused only on honoring your name.

Psalm 86:11

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Forgive me Lord when I fail to walk in your truth, when I take my focus off of you and leave your honor in jeopardy of my negligence.  Help me to listen to the voice of your Holy Spirit today, and return to the way of truth wholeheartedly. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, My prayer today is for all persons who are in love and are this day making their vows to love one another forever.  Let the power of your Spirit overshadow their lives forever, and keep them deep in the love you have given them. Amen.

DayLight Scripture – Speak out on behalf of the voiceless, and for the rights of all who are vulnerable.

Proverbs 31: 8

DayLight Prayer – Lord, If we refuse to speak out for anybody who can’t speak for themselves, what does that say about our character. It is certainly not akin to yours, whose power and mercy bind up all who are hurt, all who need a friend. Help me to be a voice for the voiceless in all the ways I can. For souls are being lost.  Amen.

 DayLight Prayer – Lord, I am blessed to know people whose chains you have shattered. Those lives give me hope for all that your mercy and grace can accomplish. Help me to be part of your kingdom building in the places where I am.  Amen.

 DayLight Prayer – Lord, I give thanks that you allow the likes of me into your secret place, that blessed place of rest. That shadowy place is fully lit by the peace and presence of Christ.  Amen.
