DayLight Prayer – Lord, My prayer today is for all your children who long for the day of your coming. Those who struggle to place one thought in front of the other…just to survive. God give them hope in the midst of their darkness, and give them the assurance they need to know you are on your way. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Gracious God, You truly do know me inside and out. Nothing is hidden from you. I find it both disconcerting and comforting, especially in my quiet moments.  Amen.

DayLight Scripture – Don’t drink water anymore, but use a little wine because of your stomach problems and your frequent illnesses.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, I was just wondering, was Paul talking just to Timothy? Or can I use a little wine too…I am grateful for the blessing of the fruit of the vine and the bread that goes with it. It truly has healing power! Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, I am so grateful that when my heart is in chaos, your are there to be my calm. Take my life and mold it into a peaceful existence.  Amen.

DayLight Scripture -God says, “When I decide the time is right,  I will establish justice…”

DayLight Prayer – God, I have seen your justice established. It is grace, and I am unworthy of it, but so very thankful.  Amen.

DayLight Scripture -The Lord is my light and my salvation.  Should I fear anyone? The Lord is a fortress protecting my life. Should I be frightened of anything?

Psalm 27:1

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Today I pray for those who are afraid, who may be unable to go to the store, or to church, or to school, or anywhere out of the house. Lord help them to know that you go with them into all of those places, and that they are not alone.

DayLight Scripture –  The Jews, as we said before, organized singing groups and spent their time in celebration with cheerful thanksgiving psalms.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, What a beautiful blessing it is to celebrate with cheerful and thankful singing. I never tire of it Lord. Thank you for the gift of music. Amen.
