DayLight Prayer – Lord, my prayer today are for those good people who are always around to lend a hand, a shoulder, or a few bucks. Thank you for those you send into our live as angels of mercy. Always keep me honest, so that I never take advantage, and always pay back what is lent to me in good and honest measure…whether it is a hand, a shoulder or a few bucks. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, I offer my thanks for the leveling of my spirits when drama enters my life. You know it seems that people will try their best to shake you up and shake you down, but your Holy Spirit is with me to keep me on that even keel, level. For your presence Lord,  I truly bless your name. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Gracious Lord, You are truly the one who has brought me salvation. Without your love, my life would be simply bald, colorless, frozen…in other words, dead. Thank your for your gifts of grace and blessings.

DayLight Scripture – Examine me, God! Look at my heart! Put me to the test! Know my anxious thoughts! Look to see if there is any idolatrous way in me, then lead me on the eternal path!

DayLight Prayer – Beautiful Lord, I pray this humble prayer of the psalmist today. I ask you to be my guide, my strength, and my comfort. Lord help me to live in fullness of your spirit in all that I do. Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, Help me to leave judging to you. If the world had its way, judgment would rule the day. God forbid it. Help me realize that when I judge others, it is only the same as I will be judged. Gracious one, lead me to conform to the holiness of your ways, and allow a judging heart not be formed within me. 

DayLight Scripture – Be happy in your hope, stand your ground when you’re in trouble, and devote yourselves to prayer.

Romans 12:12

DayLight Prayer – Lord, My prayer today is for those who have found themselves in deep trouble. I know that it is hard to have hope when that happens. So Lord, be present with those desperate people who need you and fill them with your hope, your faith, your love. Amen.

DayLight Scripture – Aim to live quietly, mind your own business, and earn your own living, just as I told you. That way you’ll behave appropriately toward outsiders, and you won’t be in need.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, I am so grateful for those people in my life who have let me be, even when their advice would have saved me much trouble. Through their willingness to allow me my mistakes, I have learned many things. Help me to also live quietly, minding my own stuff, and help me to leave judgments of others to you…you, who sees so far beyond what I can see. Amen.

DayLight Scripture – Jesus traveled among all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, announcing the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness.

Matthew 9:6

DayLight Prayer Lord, how wonderful to read about how you traveled, taught, and healed every disease and sickness. I pray today for people who are suffering from cancer. Sometimes when people hear that word, they give up. Send them more courage, and more hope that you are the almighty healer.   Amen.

DayLight Prayer – Lord, today I know that there are many who are feeling that they are at the end of their strength. They want to cry out to you, but fear their prayers won’t be heard, much less responded to. Lord, I pray for those desperate ones, asking you to speak to them in ways, and through people so that they can be encouraged to seek you, call out to you, and trust you. Amen.
