Daylight Scripture – The Lord was with Hezekiah; he succeeded at everything he tried. He rebelled against Assyria’s king and wouldn’t serve him.

2 Kings 18:7

Daylight Prayer – Lord, sometimes we just have to rebel against those things that might hurt people, your beloved. I ask for strength in the face of all enemies, flesh and blood ones, cosmic and spiritual ones, petty and everyday ones, personal and private ones. God of strength and power, lend to me your boldness, love, and the will to live as Jesus did; resisting evil of all kinds. Have mercy on me, oh Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Amen.
