Daylight Scripture – God is our refuge and strength, a help always near in times of great trouble. That’s why we won’t be afraid when the world falls apart, when the mountains crumble into the center of the sea, when its waters roar and rage, when the mountains shake because of its surging waves.

Daylight Prayer – Gracious God, I am grateful that I can be certain of your great power and protection. Today I pray for people who do not know the blessing of the safety of your love, mercy, and care. Thank you for continuing to seek them with your perfect grace. Anoint us who know to the work in your kingdom. Amen.
