DayLight Scripture –

I am the true vine, and my Father is the vineyard keeper. ² He removes any of my branches that don’t produce fruit, and he trims any branch that produces fruit so that it will produce even more fruit.

John 15: 1-2

DayLight Prayer – Lord, this day comes at us too quickly. The Sabbath, when we are supposed to be ready, even anxious to meet with our sisters and brothers, to pray, to ask forgiveness, to give our offerings, to be restored and renewed…but Lord I’m not ready. The week has pounded me like a shell in the surf. I’m too broken to be ready. Maybe just today, you can be ready for me, I pray.  Amen.
