Those who are deceived by worthless things lose out on their chance for mercy. But as for me, I will offer you a sacrifice of praise that I have promised, for deliverance belongs to the Lord.

Lord, Some of us expect to have a rough day, but then the days turn into weeks, then months, and then into years. For all my sisters and brothers in the world who have had a year’s worth of rough days, I pray. I ask that you will strengthen them; keep apathy and despondency away from their doors, and fill them with joy yet again. Amen.
