DayLight Scripture –

When it was noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon. Then Jesus cried out, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthanie? which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

DayLight Prayer –

Lord, I’ve felt this way before, and I know many others who have as well, but…I don’t believe you forsook Jesus…though I think he thought you did. Our human frailty overcomes our minds sometimes, and I believe we just can’t comprehend your presence with us.  But thanks be to you, that you do not forsake us! Amen.
